A (Motorcycling) Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Recently we posted what makes a perfect motorcycle, and gave examples of our favorite bikes. But we didn’t talk about “Motorcycling”.

I have a select few photos that represent what I like about “motorcycling”, both as a special motorcycling experience and for me the karma of motorcycling. I have included one of these photos here, and would be very interested in seeing examples from you.

Bargains at an Auction?

Several small displacement bikes sold in the range of $3,000 – $3,500 at the January Mecum Auction: an RD 350, a CL 350, and several small displacement Italian bikes from Ducati, Parilla, FB Mondial. A 1993 BMW R100 RT sold for $2,500 while a Honda GB500 sold at $14,000. And a 1974 Ducati GT / Sport conversion sold for $41,000! Looks like affordable vintage bikes can be found in unexpected places.
