When I watch the videos on the Cafe Racer TV site I get the itch to convert my Bonnie. There is a site, Farley and Ace, that sells fairings like the old Avon fairing for new bonnevilles. Their website needs a lot of help, but their product is interesting. http://www.farleyandace.com/.

I also have dreams of converting my bonnie with the Norman Hyde Harrier conversion kit. Maybe someday…

I recently purchased a new 3/4 helmet to replace my aging 3/4 HJC. I went with a Z1R, 3/4 Ace Transit in pearl white. I chose it over all the other 3/4’s I looked at because of the better jaw protection. It also has a flip-up full clear shield and visor, both of which can be ordered in various tints and colors. An added bonus has been the increased peripheral vision over my old 3/4. Good fit, designed for American heads. Best vision I’ve had with any helmet, with or without a shield, but not quite as comfortable as an HJC for me. Still a keeper!

The new season of Cafe Racer starts tonight at 9:00 on HDTheater (channel 364 for us on Dish).
