BMW has some good sale incentives on 2016 models. It looks like there’s a $1,500 credit on the 2016 F800R roadster. Has anybody ridden or even sat on this model? The reviews seem generally favorable and the color combinations look good. These motorcycle seem forgotten and ignored. Wonder if there’s cause.

There’s a white and black one at the Spokane BMW dealer. I’ll have to check it out. Unfortunately, they’re not the easiest people to work with – and no mention of the BMW rebates on their website.
I rode one about two years ago at the same time I rode the R9T. Liked both bikes. The F800R had a more familiar riding position. The one I rode was blue, just wish the paint was gloss instead of matte.
I haven’t looked at BMW’s in person for a while. Maybe customers are more attracted to big displacement bikes. Or they are responding to the nice marketing that’s so prevalent and buying the touring, sport, and adventure models. Hard to believe a 90 hp bike is ho-hum entry level nowadays. And BMW does have a bewildering array of models.
