I had a service done on my XMoto this week and the owner of Morton’s BMW had just gotten back from the dealer meeting. He said that all signs are that 2012 will be the last year of the air cooled boxer, as it will be replaced with a water cooled boxer in 2013. There are several different color schemes for the 2012 GS1200, one of which is “red framed” with white body work and the triple black is also available again. They had just received the first red frame GS and it is the best looking GS I’ve seen in a long time! I would love to get an air cooled GS before they get even more comlicated with water cooling and it would have to be the red frame. Too bad I’m about $18,000 short on the funds to get it!!!

I saw a picture of the 30 YearAnniversary GS on BMW site with red seat, white body and silver frame. That would really look good with a red frame.
I want a Ural Solo or2wd. At least they stii have the old technology.
